October 2007
October was an important month because I started a new job and switched to working only weekends at Office This. Because of that, I now work 7 days a week.
I worked every day in October except for the day we moved, and worked both jobs on Halloween. A lot of people ask if I dislike working 7 days a week, but I really don’t mind. I have the option of quitting at Office This, but choose not to because I love working there. Laura hates that I don’t have any days off so I will probably quit sometime after Christmas. Because of the job, we have extra money for savings and to spend on the house and baby.
Our major purchases for October were a house, refrigerator (~$1200), and washer and dryer (~$2400). We also got to pay all the expenses that come with purchasing a house such as deposits, a home inspection, and closing costs as well as our car tags (~$3500). We took advantage of 12 months free financing on our Lowe’s card so according to NetworthIQ, our net worth decreased by about $3400.
Open Mike Music also DJ’d a karaoke show at the Wichita Hyatt.
Chad is that smith.
