September 2007

Real Estate ContractSeptember 2007

In September I spent a lot of time working at Office This, and the rest of the time interviewing on my days off. Laura had her first few doctor’s appointments and I believe it was September when we first heard the baby’s heartbeat. She ordered M&Ms to announce the upcoming Baby Smith, and we told her family and mine on my dad’s 50th birthday.

The only other things I remember from September are doing a second interview at the radio station, interviewing for and being offered my current job, taking the drug test, our celebrating our first anniversary, and going to the Kansas State Fair.

We notified the apartment of our intent to vacate, made an offer on the house on September 21st, then found out it was accepted a few days later. The only large expenses we had in September were rent and the earnest money deposit on the house. NetworthIQ (I’ve been using it since July to track our financial progress) says our net worth decreased by $155 in September.

Chad is that smith.
