Broken A/CAugust 2007

I don’t remember a lot about August, but according to what I wrote, we did a little house hunting, our air conditioner broke, was fixed, I was offered and almost accepted another financial advising job, and I wrote a lot about personal finances. I think it was then that I spent a lot of time reorganizing our finances and helping some of my co-workers with theirs.

In August we canceled our cable and attempted to cancel our internet only to be offered an excellent retention package. We also spent a lot of time with our neighbors before we found out Laura was pregnant. Laura’s friend Christen moved back to KU and one of her other friends almost moved in. Our net worth decreased by about 2.4% in August.
