Firefox, Thunderbird nearing 2.0

By • Sep 14th, 2006 • Category: Uncategorized

With tomorrow being World Firefox Day and today’s update of Firefox claiming to be v2.0 rather than a nightly build I’m starting to smell the sweet scent of freedom once again. And this time it isn’t from moving Laura’s pile of stuff in the corner.

Also, yesterday my version of Thunderbird updated to 2.0b1pre so I’m excited about the nearby release candidate status it will soon have.

To those of you reading this who are not yet using Firefox or Thunderbird, shame on you. It’s people like you and my little sister that keep our internet infected with nasty gooey stuff that shouldn’t be nasty and gooey.

I urge you to stop using Internet Explorer and Outlook and try these great programs. Perhaps tomorrow I will share what’s so secret about my Jumpdrive…
