That Smith

I suppose there is a lot going on at our place this year, especially in the month of September. This update is to let you all know that I will be changing jobs beginning in October.

I currently work for a new company that leases office space to small businesses in Wichita (read: Newer Job! from 2/13/07). I really enjoy working here and am responsible for much of our sales and marketing activities as well as managing new memberships, accounts receivable, and customer service.

The new job, which pays significantly more, is as a marketing specialist for a local manufacturing and engineering firm. It looks like it will involve doing a lot of the same things on a daily basis, and doesn’t seem as laid back as Office This. Hopefully I will like working there as much as I do here. October 3rd is my start date so wish me luck.
