Please ship my dining room table, and try not to break it for the sixth time
By Chad • Jan 13th, 2008 • Category: Advice, Daily LifeThis glass top, the sixth, shipped two days ago but is coming via FedEx again. I am unhappy about that, but can’t do anything until it either arrives in one piece, or has a fate similar to the others.
According to the tracking (#704104632219386) it was sent on 1/9 and should arrive tomorrow (1/14). The status was updated yesterday to On FedEx vehicle for delivery, but was changed to Scheduled for delivery next business day a few hours later. I’m sure that is probably not a good sign.
This is where CSN Stores, Hillsdale Furniture, FedEx, and I stand right now, and if my wife would like to take a picture of our dining room I would be happy to show you where we eat too.
I appreciate the help from the Dining Rooms Direct representatives that have gone above and beyond to try to get us our table. I have talked with Nico, Lucy, and Stephanie multiple times about the issue, and they have always made my wife and I feel better. For some reason they even seem to remember me every time I call back.
For those of you who are thinking about purchasing a dining room table online, I want you to know that I do not blame CSN Stores for the trouble I have gone through. They are not actually the ones who produce and ship the orders. As for now though, I do not recommend having Hillsdale Furniture or FedEx ship you anything breakable.
I will be back tomorrow, hopefully with good news about the latest shipment. Otherwise this post, along with the e-mail I specially drafted for CSN Stores and Hillsdale Furniture, will find their way to the inboxes of each company’s executives.
